for this COMING SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd, FOLLOWING THE MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE! Lunch WILL be provided and we will finish with lunch and practice, no later than 3:00PM!!! WE NEED ALL CHILDREN AGES 5-11 AND THE ENTIRE DRAMA TEAM COMBINED TO BE THERE! We are less than 3 weeks away from performance, now...... See YOU there!

THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL CHANGES FOR OUR 2009 CHRISTMAS MUSICAL. INCLUDING A RE-WRITE TO THE DRAMA LINES AND NEW PRACTICE SESSION TIMES. THE 'CHORUS' WILL CONTINUE TO MEET ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 7PM... THE DRAMA TEAM WILL BEGIN MEETING ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 6PM!!! PLEASE BE AT YOUR DESIGNATED TIME OR THIS PROGRAM WILL NOT BE "ALL THAT IT CAN BE"! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION FOR "IT'S A WONDER----FUL LIFE"!!!

IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION... THERE ARE SOME OF YOU, WHO ARE NOT AWARE THAT WE DISMISS "KIDZ KONNECT"... DURING REVIVAL WEEK. THIS IS NOT ONLY A GREAT TIME OF TEACHING OUR CHILDREN THE IN'S AND OUT'S OF REVIVAL, BUT ALSO GIVES EACH OF OUR FAMILIES A CHANCE TO WORSHIP TOGETHER, AS A FAMILY. WE WILL SEE ALL YOU NEXT WEEK..................

HAPPY FALL!!!

We have a great way for you to CELEBRATE Fall, this year!!! Join us... THIS SUNDAY, (Sept. 27th) at 10:00AM, for Jr. (Wee) Worship with Mrs. Doris (also Mrs. Alberta) and staff for a fun filled service! Following the morning service, we are ALL invited to "Sunday Dinner-On-The-Grounds" together! After dinner is completed, we will go to a designated area called "KIDZ ZONE", to the "Construction Site", for an Illusion Show and a Special Guest Appearance. Around 2PM, we will be dismissed outdoors, to the "Building-n-Development Site" and "Snack Site", for MANY more exciting surprises!!! Things like a "Make-n-Take" booth, "Sno-Cone" booth and soooooo much more!!! Praying for SUN and that the weather will not get in the way of SOME of our outdoor surprises, though! This will be one "KIDZ ZONE", where you'll enjoy the work... after all, who doesn't like to have fun 'on the job'??? SEE YA THERE!!!

SEPTEMBER, SCHOOL AND SURPRISES AT SOUTHSIDE

This is just to remind YOU of a few things that are going on here at Southside Kidz during the month of September!!!
We are in the middle of our annual Christmas Musical preparations, taking place on Wednesday nights, during the regular "Kidz Konnect" hour. WE ARE IN NEED OF EVERY CHILD AND YOUNG ADULT FROM 5 - 19 YEARS OF AGE!!! Without enough people in the cast and commitment for practice sessions, we will NOT be able to pull this Musical off! It has awesome music, great drama and even a few of the characters 'come to life'! YOU WILL ALL WANT TO BE A PART OF SUCH AN INCREDIBLE PROGRAM! Please do not allow the 2009 Christmas Program to be cancelled because of YOU... WE NEED YOU!!!

Also, remember we have a VERY special day planned on Sunday, September 27, 2009! It is REUNION SUNDAY at Southside! Following Wee and Jr. Worship that morning, we will have an ALL-CHURCH Sunday Dinner-On-The-Grounds! You can invite your family, neighbors and friends! There will be a big tent, a special guest... just for YOU kids, a christian illusion show and lots of other SURPRISES that you will love!!! Be there or be square and miss out on all the fun... SEE YOU THERE!

Back To School and...

Back to Kidz Konnect!!! King's Kidz Klub is over for the Summer season and we're moving into our Fall schedule!

Last, week Mrs. Sally helped us with a 'Make-n-Take' craft (AKA: "Kidz Konnect with Krafts"), we watched a portion of a very interesting Missionary-based DVD before it was time for snack and good bye's! This coming week, Mrs. Mari and Mrs. Amelia will help us create an 'edible' snack (AKA: "Kidz Konnect with Kreations), to go along with our Bible story. These are always fun... because who doesn't like a 'creative' snack, right??? The following Wednesday night, September 2nd, Mrs. America and Mr. Aaron will present our first "Brain Boggling with The Bragg's"! This a mystery-type event and no one will know just what's going to happen, until we arrive to have our brains 'BoGgLeD! WE WILL ALSO BEGIN OUR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICES ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH AND WE NEED YOUR COMMITMENT OR WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRESENT THIS YEARS MUSICAL... PLEASE BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!!

• 'KIDZ KONNECT' BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY, AUG. 19, 2009. (With two 'activity weeks' before the annual Christmas practices begin.)


• KIDZ KONNECT WILL BEGIN REHEARSALS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS MUSICAL ON WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 9, 2009

We look forward to great end to an awesome Summer here at "King's Kidz Klub" and a wonderful Fall Season ahead of us, here at Southside!!! We will be contacting some of you (along with a few adults) concerning your 'part' in this year's Christmas Program... it's gonna be lots of fun and you're gonna love the songs this year!!! Kidz Kreations with King's Kidz Klub at Southside

Who would've ever thought that you could BUILD an edible "Campfire"??? WELL!!! Mrs. Mari and Mrs. Amelia taught us just how we could do that this past week. YUMMM and those "Campfires" were tasty, too!

Just to remind you all, "Kidz Kamp at Kamp Kamby" began this week. Because of this, there will be NO KING'S KIDZ KLUB this coming Wednesday night. There will also be NO KING'S KIDZ KLUB on the following Wednesday, August 5th, due to Family Camp at Camp Camby!!! However, we will resume King's Kidz Klub on Wednesday, August 12th...

We Have HIT Mid-Summer with A Bang at Southside

It's the middle of July, which means the Summer is about half over and though that's a little depressing, we're having a great time here at King's Kidz Klub!

Since our last post, we were rained out of our Wacky n Wild Water Night, so we went indoors for a couple of INDOOR water activities. VERY interesting and VERY fun! We will try again in a couple of weeks for our Water Night OUTDOORS... watch and listen for details.

We have had fun times with a variety of Outdoor Games throughout the Summer, including a Scavenger Hunt, which the kids absolutely loved! Mr. Aaron and Mrs. America did a fabulous job and the No-Bake Cookies and Milk were the perfect finale to the night.

Kraft Night is always fun! Last night, Mrs. Sally and Mrs. Theresa helped us make pretty little Summer like Sun-Catchers and they'll be ready to 'pick up' this Sunday Morning (following Jr. Worship)! ***Special thanks go out also, to Mr. Rusty and Mrs. Tanya, for the Popsicles***

This coming Wednesday evening, will be A & M Kidz Kreations (with Mrs. Amelia and Mrs. Mari) and they always come up with exciting surprise 'creations' for us to make! Please plan NOW to attend!!!
